A five-minute concentration test and focus practice
A focus test is a snapshot, not a verdict. Used well, it gives you a baseline you can compare with yourself week to week.
What attention tests measure
- Sustained attention: staying with a task over time.
- Response control: not reacting to the wrong cue.
- Consistency: how steady your responses are.
- Distractor handling and tracking moving objects.
How to use a result
Test at a similar time of day, rested and without notifications. Compare against your own earlier scores, not other people. A single bad session might just mean you were tired.
A game cannot diagnose a condition. If you have concerns about attention, talk to a clinician.
How Attention Age approaches it
Attention Age: Focus Test is a free iPhone app from Honest Little Apps. Everything below comes from its App Store description.
- Attention Age is a five-minute test built from three timed tasks: Signal Watch, Interference and Tracking.
- It gives a 0 to 100 Attention Index with five category scores, your strongest category, one suggested practice focus and a validity check that flags sessions that probably do not reflect a real attempt.
- A 20-second Daily Signal is the same pattern for everyone on the same date, with no rankings and no fake competitors.
- The description says no account and that your results stay on your iPhone. Pro adds seven more drills.
